Honoring Loved Ones and Friends

Is there someone special that you would like to honor or remember in a meaningful, lasting way?

Memorial gifts are given in honor or memory of special loved ones and friends. A memorial gift is also a thoughtful way to celebrate a special occasion such as:

• milestone birthdays
• wedding anniversaries
• birth of a child
• graduation

They are gifts given in thoughtful remembrance and serve as a lasting expression of love, honor and recognition.

Whether it is a modest cash gift or a naming gift, every gift makes a difference. The gifts we receive honoring or remembering someone provide an important source of financial support each year to UTEP and the students we serve.  Memorial contributions make many programs, services, and scholarships possible for our students. 

One-time gifts in honor or remembrance may be made through our donations form.  We will mail an acknowledgment of your gift to the honoree or, if a memorial gift, to a designated family member to let them know their loved one has been honored by you.  We will also mail the donor a letter of appreciation with acknowledgment of the gift amount for your tax records, as these gifts are tax deductible.
